# How to edit the wording in your self-service portal (B2C)

### Select your self-service portal <a href="#h_913a42ba39" id="h_913a42ba39"></a>

Go to your list of self-service portals and choose the one you want to edit.

### &#x20;Find the screen you want to change <a href="#h_b72a9a9e10" id="h_b72a9a9e10"></a>

In most cases, you’ll see a picture on the right-hand side showing which screen you are working with.

Each screen has:

* A header (title)
* A subtitle (description)

### General settings <a href="#h_3dac5b5afe" id="h_3dac5b5afe"></a>

In the General settings, you can change:

* The starting screen
* The channel screen

In the Channel settings, you can edit:

* The flow selection
* The title for each issue type

### Flow settings <a href="#h_8aa8458cef" id="h_8aa8458cef"></a>

In the Flow settings, you can edit all wording related to each specific flow.\
Each flow follows the same structure:

* Header (title)
* Subtitle (description)

If a field requires validation and can throw an error, you will also see a field where you can edit the error message.
