# How to Change Supplier Identifier

Learn how to update the supplier identifier in your Claimlane account. This identifier helps you manage and connect supplier data correctly across your integrations.

#### Steps to Change a Supplier Identifier

1. **Open the company settings**\
   From your Claimlane inbox, click the **four-square icon** in the top navigation bar, then select **Manage Company**.<br>

2. **Find your supplier**\
   In the left-hand menu, go to **Suppliers → Overview**.\
   Locate the supplier you want to update and click **Supplier Information**.\ <br>

3. **Edit the supplier identifier**\
   Click **Edit Supplier Identifier**, enter the new ID, and confirm by clicking **Change Identifier**.

**That’s it!**\
Your supplier identifier has now been successfully updated.
