# Analytics Module

Claimlane Analytics Module provides structured access to return and claim information without manual data collection. It makes it easy to identify trends such as frequently claimed products, high-cost repairs, or recurring issues with specific retailers or shipment types. These standardized data points form the foundation for creating meaningful reports that support quality control, supplier discussions, and operational improvements.\
\
Building on these data points, customers can easily create tailored reports, such as carrier reports and supplier/brand reports, to turn insights into action.\
\
Carrier reports help evaluate shipping performance by tracking damage rates, return costs, and delivery reliability. This enables data-driven carrier selection and smarter contract negotiations, helping reduce costs and minimize product damage during the returns process.\
\
Supplier/brand reports highlight which suppliers or brands generate the most claims and how they respond to resolution requests. These insights support fact-based discussions on product quality and collaboration, empowering companies to improve supplier performance, negotiate better terms, and focus improvement efforts where they matter most.\
\
Together, these analytics capabilities give businesses a complete view of claim activity across products, suppliers, and logistics partners - streamlining decision-making and driving continuous improvement.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://claimlane-docs.gitbook.io/claimlane-docs/platform/analytics-module.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
